Our client, a global international law firm, is seeking an Associate Director of Client Services for their global services department.
The primary objective of this role is to grow the Corporate and Secretarial Services business in Bermuda, with a focus on Family Office and Trust Services.
Responsibilities:
Set the strategic direction for the Corporate and Secretarial Services and Family Office Services business, providing leadership and support to the Accounting Services team, including key client management.
Gain and maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s infrastructure, including policies, processes, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, beneficiaries, and intermediaries, ensuring compliance with KYC procedures.
Continuously assess marketing opportunities, particularly for Accounting and Family Office services.
Create and implement a long-term business plan for growth aligned with the company’s strategy.
Build and lead a team, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals.
Prepare business development plans and quarterly reports for the board.
Collaborate with the marketing team on materials and attend relevant events.
Ensure that services are delivered in line with company standards and encourage the team to develop client relationships.
Oversee billing and cash collection, ensuring financial targets are met.
Drive innovative ideas to support the company’s strategy and growth.
Required Skills:
At least 10 years of experience in the offshore industry, with a focus on fiduciary services.
Professional certification (ACIB, STEP, ICSA) or a Bachelor’s degree in Law or Accounting.
Strong knowledge of company administration, fiduciary services, and risk management.
Expertise in compliance regulations, including AML and KYC.
Experience managing financial assets, investments, and understanding tax issues across jurisdictions.
Ability to act as a Director on client boards and manage complex fiduciary matters.
Leadership experience with the ability to drive team performance.
Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills.
Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.
Experience with Bermuda corporate vehicles and governance.
Skilled in business development and marketing strategies.
