Associate Director – Compliance

Our client, one of the largest independent private client firms on the island, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Director – Compliance to strengthen their Compliance team.

Key Duties:

• Update risk ratings and criteria to align with GFSC and other regulatory standards.
• Act as Nominated Officer whenever necessary in the absence of the MLRO.
• Regularly review and maintain accurate country risk profiles.
• Consolidate reviewer feedback, track remedial actions, and report significant issues to senior management and the Board.
• Maintain the Breaches Register and recommend actions for repeated breaches.
• Oversee AML/CFT/CPF reviews, escalate concerns, and recommend improvements.
• Handle Suspicious Activity Reports in the MLRO’s absence, ensuring proper documentation and timely disclosures.
• Advise on updates to office forms, checklists, and guidance documents.
• Manage team operations, including training, performance management, and quality assurance.
• Review and approve new business and trigger event documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
