Our client, a large independent professional services firm, is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive to join their team. Reporting directly to the Director of the UK office, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and client relationship management. This role will involve working with an established UK client base, as well as identifying and developing relationships with prospective clients, with a particular focus on the Channel Islands offices.
As a key point of contact, the candidate will oversee communication, service delivery, and client relationship management, with a focus on corporate, trust, and fund administration services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the continued growth of the firm while managing and nurturing key client relationships in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus primarily on the UK domestic market and UK-based clients with international structures, particularly those involving offshore structures.
- Engage with existing clients and prospects to identify and develop new business opportunities, promoting the full range of services to meet client needs.
- Expand the UK office's portfolio by securing new business, collaborating with various global offices.
- Prepare and present business proposals tailored to individual client requirements.
- Stay up to date with relevant industry regulations in the UK and globally, ensuring that any regulatory changes affecting clients’ structures are communicated clearly and effectively.
- Organise and lead client workshops, training sessions, and presentations to highlight the Trust's service offerings.
- Attend in-person meetings with clients across the UK and internationally, as necessary.
- Ensure smooth communication between the UK office and other entities, maintaining high service standards by being responsive and accessible to clients.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience with a trust service provider, with exposure to business development or a strong interest in transitioning into business development or management within a law firm, accountancy practice, family office, private bank, or trust company focused on corporate and/or private clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
