We have been exclusively engaged to recruit a Client Director on behalf of our client, an independent provider of corporate services. They are seeking a senior professional to join their growing Client Services team based in Jersey, an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within a dynamic and international organisation.

The team delivers a comprehensive range of services to a diverse global client base, including corporate directorships, administration, company secretarial services, bookkeeping, and accounting. Their client portfolio spans multi-jurisdictional structures such as companies, limited partnerships, and trusts, with a strong institutional and corporate focus.

Working closely with a varied client base, the Client Services team manages complex assignments across multiple time zones. As part of a global service line, the team promotes consistent corporate governance and best practices, delivering innovative, client-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the organisation. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing client portfolios and providing strategic advice while fostering strong team collaboration.
  • Acting as a director or alternate director on client entities, leading key meetings, and contributing to board discussions.
  • Managing a portfolio of corporate client relationships, ensuring exceptional service standards and timely delivery.
  • Proactively developing client relationships and identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across service lines.
  • Leading and managing a high-performing Corporate Services team, aligning performance with business goals and objectives.
  • Contributing to the leadership of the Corporate Services function, supporting the wider strategy and values of the business.
  • Ensuring effective internal communication and delivering clear reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Driving innovation and promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Supporting business development initiatives through relationship management and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Overseeing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and contributing to management-level reporting and forecasting.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience, credibility, and leadership capability. Key requirements include:

  • Regulatory approval or JFSC Category A status, with a Table 4 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar senior role within the fiduciary or corporate services sector.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with a track record of implementing effective business solutions.
  • A collaborative and supportive working style, aligned with the organisation’s values.
