Our client, a world-leading independent provider of corporate, trust, and fund administration services, is seeking a Director of Business Development to work directly with the Managing Director. This role involves developing a business development action plan, focusing on potential introducers in Singapore and Dubai.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities/Duties:
- Develop and maintain a business development action plan, including a focused visitation programme for potential introducers in both Singapore and Dubai.
- Organise and utilise existing contacts in the CRM system to identify potential leads where relevant.
- Liaise with marketing and business development teams regarding business development activities.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date entries in the internal business development tracking system.
- Identify prime target markets and report on competitors, products, and geographic areas of interest.
- Prepare and deliver external sales presentations as needed.
- Negotiate fee arrangements with new clients and ensure they are informed of due diligence and new client acceptance requirements.
- Ensure all onboarding documents are accurate and complete before presenting to the New Business Committee.
- Ensure a smooth handover of new business to relevant administration teams and involve them in a timely manner.
- Adhere to service standards, policies, and procedures related to new business.
- Meet new business sales targets.
- Assist with debt collection for business introduced, if required.
- Promote strategic alliances with professional intermediaries and encourage reciprocal business introductions.
- Manage and supervise a Business Development Support Officer, if required.
- Comply with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour.
- Adhere to internal policies and procedures.
- Act with the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
- Participate in training and tests to meet regulatory obligations and demonstrate competency.
- Undertake other duties as reasonably required to support business development and maintain regulatory compliance.
