A leading fiduciary services provider is seeking an experienced Manager to join its team in Jersey. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in trust and company administration, who is ready to take ownership of a client portfolio and support the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of a portfolio of trust and company clients, including complex structures and diverse asset classes such as property, investment portfolios, and vehicles.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients and intermediaries, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Oversee and support junior team members, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management.
  • Ensure all transactions are properly authorised, recorded, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage business risks associated with client portfolios.
  • Contribute to the commercial development of client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and service enhancement.
  • Accurately record work activities and ensure time utilisation is chargeable and recoverable.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to ensure effective communication and alignment on client matters.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in trust and fiduciary services, with a solid understanding of offshore jurisdictions and statutory requirements.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to delegate effectively and manage performance.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, with a commercial mindset and a focus on long-term value.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks, particularly the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) guidelines.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Business Central is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and organisational skills.
