Our client, a global independent fiduciary services provider, offers tailored solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions. They are seeking a Trust Director to leverage their professional qualifications and leadership skills in overseeing business management, quality control, and client portfolio management. The Director will collaborate closely with the Executive Board to ensure the company meets its objectives while maintaining high operational standards and fostering strong team performance.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborating with the Executive Board, the Director will:

  • Oversee client portfolio management, ensuring client needs are met effectively.
  • Align team objectives and performance with the firm’s strategic goals.
  • Maintain efficient systems to manage workflows, deadlines, and staff productivity.
  • Address workflow challenges, implementing solutions to optimise team performance and minimise stress.
  • Continuously review and improve systems and practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure staff training, technical standards, and skills development are upheld.
  • Conduct appraisals, set objectives, and support staff development.
  • Monitor group receivables and assist with quarterly billing processes.
  • Stay updated on company secretarial, compliance, and anti-money laundering practices.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Person Specification

  • Professional qualification (e.g., STEP, ICSA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Strategic leadership and proactive management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of trust and company administration.
  • Strong communication skills with staff, partners, and clients.
  • Organised, reliable, and of unquestionable integrity.
  • Expertise in trust and company organisation, administration, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and relevant record-keeping software.
