A mid-sized trust business is seeking a manager to join their expanding Trust Department. The role involves managing a client portfolio under the guidance of the Senior Manager/Director, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations while maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse client portfolio, supporting both senior management and junior staff.
- Drive process improvements and lead the Client Administration Team.
- Oversee billing, cash collection, and minimise write-offs.
- Review client structures and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Promote a client service culture and support business development.
- Allocate team responsibilities and provide coverage during absences.
- Implement legal and tax advice as required.
- Retain clients through effective administration and provide professional services.
- Train and mentor team members; manage performance reviews.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and support client visits.
- Review fees to ensure profitability and address uncommercial arrangements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5-10 years in trust administration.
- STEP or CGI qualified at Diploma level (support for further qualifications available).
