Christopher CostiA unique opportunity to deliver high‑quality trust administration, estate administration and UK tax compliance within a small Private Client team. This is a hands‑on role with day‑to‑day oversight of one direct report, serving long‑standing private high‑net‑worth families.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review Personal and Trust tax returns, including Trust and Estate Self-Assessment, ensuring accurate completion and timely submission.
- Gather information and complete Inheritance Tax accounts, including IHT400 and schedules, liaising with HMRC as required.
- Maintain trust accounts and undertake routine trust administration, liaising with beneficiaries, trustees, brokers, accountants and financial advisers.
- Administer estates, including returns for the administration period and preparation of estate cash accounts.
- Register and maintain entries on the Trust Registration Service and manage ongoing update obligations.
- Draft core trust documents such as trustee resolutions, minutes and deeds of appointment for legal review.
- Support administration under Powers of Attorney or Court of Protection deputyships, applying best practice and maintaining clear records.
- Lead workflow, supervision and development for one Tax and Trust Administrator, providing clear allocation, coaching and quality control.
Person requirements
- Strong, hands‑on background in UK trust administration and estate administration.
- Confident with trust and estate tax compliance, IHT forms, trust accounting, TRS processes and liaison with professional counterparts.
