William HurlockAn international fiduciary and corporate services group is looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow client relationships and support new business across private wealth and offshore corporate markets.
The firm is undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation, and as part of this, the sales team is expanding. They are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive new business generation and contribute to strategic growth.
You’ll work with contacts in key jurisdictions including the BVI, Cayman, UK, Switzerland, and the Channel Islands while being based in London.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the process of converting new contacts into clients, actively reaching out to and cultivating new clients and business leads
- Follow up on enquiries and help convert them into long-term clients
- Represent the organisation at industry conferences and networking events to build relationships, stay informed on market trends, and promote the company’s brand and services
- Understand client needs and assist in recommending suitable structures and services
- Work with teams in different locations to ensure smooth onboarding
- Attend meetings and support proposal preparation and marketing activity
- Research prospects and help track leads through the pipeline
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes and market trends
- Support clients with documentation and KYC requirements
- Assist with coordinating proposals across multiple jurisdictions
- Help with occasional project work
The Successful Candidate
- A degree in law, accounting, finance, or a related field
- Some experience in sales, business development, or professional services (fiduciary or trust experience is a plus)
- Interest in private wealth and offshore corporate services
- Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing situations
- Ability to manage tasks and work well as part of a team
- Willingness to travel when needed
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
