Stan MarkowskiWe are partnering with a boutique London‑based professional services firm to appoint an experienced Company Secretarial Administrator to join its Corporate and Trust team.
The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior stakeholders and will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy from an early stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Company secretarial responsibilities across UK entities, including incorporations, statutory filings, maintenance of statutory registers, board minutes, resolutions and liquidations.
- AML, KYC and ongoing compliance work, including onboarding of clients, periodic reviews and liaison with internal compliance functions.
- Acting as a first point of contact for clients and external advisers, handling day‑to‑day queries in a professional and confident manner.
- Supporting trust administration and family office work, including preparation of documentation, trustee resolutions and assisting with trust‑related meetings.
- Paralegal and governance support to senior team members and in‑house legal function, including drafting correspondence and engagement documentation.
- Banking and administrative support, including account openings, payment preparation and ongoing CRS/FATCA requirements.
- Providing informal guidance, mentoring and support to more junior team members based in London and overseas.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a company secretarial, corporate services and compliance role within the UK.
- 3–6 years’ experience expected
- Strong, end‑to‑end experience of UK company secretarial work rather than narrow, process‑driven exposure.
- Comfortable working in a small, boutique environment where responsibilities are broad and hands‑on.
- The confidence and capability to take ownership, lead on matters and support junior colleagues.
- Strong client‑facing skills and the ability to deal with sensitive matters professionally.
- A law degree or paralegal background is advantageous but not essential if experience is strong.
- Italian language skills are desirable but not a requirement.
