This is a rare opportunity, offering the chance to lead a high value portfolio of fund and corporate clients.
The Role
The Client Director will assume full ownership of service delivery, client outcomes and the commercial performance of the portfolio, acting as the key escalation point for complex or sensitive matters.
This position is well suited to someone who values influence, visibility and the opportunity to shape both client strategy and the direction of the local business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing oversight of day to day administration activity and ensuring all work meets required regulatory, governance and quality standards
- Offering steady leadership across multi-jurisdictional teams
- Collaborating closely with senior leaders, board level stakeholders, intermediaries and technical specialists across the wider international network
A significant focus will be enhancing service excellence and operational effectiveness. You will:
- Refine operating models and strengthen internal controls
- Introduce workflow and process improvements
- Champion continuous improvement across the client base
- Apply strong commercial thinking to improve margins, identify growth opportunities and deepen relationships with existing clients
People leadership is at the core of the role. You will:
- Mentor and develop teams within both fund and corporate services
- Build robust succession plans
- Foster a positive working culture
- Support broader business initiatives as part of the senior leadership team
- Play an active role in shaping strategy, driving engagement and influencing the future direction of the business
There is also a meaningful business development component. You will help broaden service delivery for existing clients, explore opportunities across adjacent service lines, support new business conversations and contribute market insight and thought leadership. Acting as a trusted adviser will be central to long-term success.
The Successful Candidate:
- A relevant degree and a recognised professional qualification
- Significant experience within the funds sector
- Strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills
- A proven track record in people leadership and senior stakeholder management
- Confidence with core systems such as MS Office, with knowledge of industry specific platforms viewed positively
