An established and independent provider of Trust, Corporate, and Accounting Services is seeking an experienced Compliance & Governance Manager to join its London office. This role offers flexibility in working hours and involves oversight of compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the business and staff remain compliant with all regulatory and licensing obligations.
  • Maintain and update internal manuals, policies, and procedures in line with current legislation.
  • Conduct annual Business Risk Assessments for London and Dublin offices.
  • Manage KYC onboarding and ongoing monitoring, including risk assessments and screening using tools such as World Check and Risk Screen.
  • Prepare documentation for client acceptance committees.
  • Act as MLRO for London and Dublin, and provide compliance support for the Guernsey office.
  • Handle renewals and inspections with HMRC and the Department of Justice.
  • Maintain accurate records and internal systems for clients, entities, and staff.
  • Respond to AML-related requests from external agents and institutions.
  • Organise and deliver AML training for staff, and ensure CPD requirements are met.
  • Monitor and manage statutory filings and deadlines across jurisdictions (e.g. CRS, FATCA, PSC, UBO registers).

Requirements:

  • ICA Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance or Anti-Money Laundering (or equivalent).
  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Law, or a professional qualification (e.g. STEP, ICSA).
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a compliance role, ideally within the TCSP sector.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance and company secretarial duties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and TCSP software (ideally TQO / Quantios Online).
  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
