Client Accounting Project Officer (Fully Remote)

An established fiduciary services firm is seeking a Client Accounting Project Officer to support the development and rollout of new accounting processes and technologies. This is an opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys working on transformation initiatives and wants to help shape how accounting services are delivered across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal transformation teams to improve bookkeeping and financial statement preparation practices.
• Support testing of new templates and automation tools, gather and analyse feedback.
• Lead the implementation of new accounting policies and processes, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
• Liaise with software and service providers to resolve issues and suggest improvements.
• Act as a bridge between transformation and client accounting teams, helping colleagues adapt to new systems and technologies.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and assist in preparing proposals and reports for the Board.

Candidate Profile:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with up-to-date CPD.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Familiarity with SSRS, Power BI, and automated workflow tools.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable identifying and resolving moderately complex issues.
• A proactive mindset and a collaborative approach.
