Following continued expansion, the business is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join its Reigate office.
This role offers the opportunity to advise on complex UK and cross-border private client tax matters, manage a varied portfolio, and play a key part in developing a growing UK tax practice.
The Role
The Senior Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality UK private client tax advisory and compliance services, covering income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, residence issues and planning for internationally mobile individuals. The position includes reviewing personal and trust tax returns, managing complex client affairs, and supporting work related to international wealth and offshore structures.
The role also involves acting as a trusted adviser to clients, collaborating with professional intermediaries, supporting junior team members, and contributing to the growth and development of the wider UK tax function.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver UK private client tax advisory and compliance services to HNW and UHNW individuals.
- Advise on income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, residence and succession-related matters.
- Support clients with international wealth, cross-border requirements and complex structures.
- Review personal and trust tax returns and oversee compliance work.
- Manage a portfolio of private clients, maintaining strong long-term relationships.
- Mentor and support junior team members as part of a growing UK tax practice.
- Identify opportunities for additional advisory work and contribute to thought leadership and client updates.
Skills and Experience Required
- CTA, ATT or equivalent professional qualification.
- Significant experience (typically 5–8+ years) in UK private client tax.
- Strong technical understanding of UK taxation of individuals, trusts and estates.
- Experience working with internationally mobile clients or cross-border matters.
- Ability to manage a portfolio independently with high attention to detail.
