Risk Analyst / Middle Office Associate – Single Family Office

A highly regarded family office is seeking a Risk Analyst / Middle Office Associate to join its London-based team. This is a broad and commercially focused role sitting at the centre of the investment process, combining portfolio risk oversight, performance reporting, and investment operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring risk across a diversified multi-asset portfolio, producing risk and performance analysis, conducting stress testing, and ensuring adherence to investment guidelines. The role also oversees key middle and back-office functions, including trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, portfolio data integrity, valuations, and relationships with external custodians and service providers.

Candidates should ideally possess 4-6 years' experience within investment risk, middle office, performance measurement, or investment operations gained in an asset management, private banking, hedge fund, investment office, or fund administration environment. A strong understanding of multi-asset portfolios, risk analytics, derivatives, fixed income markets, and the full trade lifecycle is required.

Key Requirements:

• 4-6 years' experience in investment risk, middle office, performance or operations
• Knowledge of equities, fixed income, alternatives and derivatives
• Strong understanding of portfolio risk metrics and performance attribution
• Bloomberg and advanced Excel skills
• Experience with reconciliations, valuations, and investment operations
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate independently
