William HurlockOur client is seeking a senior professional to lead their Private Wealth function in Guernsey. Reporting into the Group Head of Private Wealth, this individual will oversee local business performance, manage key client relationships, and ensure day-to-day service delivery. The role plays a key part in supporting the wider group strategy, with a focus on operational quality, client service, and commercial effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the Guernsey-based Private Wealth team, ensuring high standards of service for private clients and advisers

Support the execution of strategic plans and provide local market insight to group leadership

Take ownership of revenue, utilisation, and profitability targets while identifying growth and efficiency opportunities

Build and maintain trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients, families, and intermediaries

Work across teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and improve client relationships

Attend networking events, identify new leads, and support business development activity

Ensure full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements including AML and KYC

Provide leadership and mentoring to the local team and encourage a collaborative working culture

Liaise with operations, compliance, and risk teams to ensure smooth business operations in line with group expectations

Monitor performance metrics for the Guernsey office and implement improvements where needed
Candidate Profile

Extensive experience in trust and fiduciary services, ideally in a senior leadership or management role within a regulated business

Strong understanding of private wealth structuring, with familiarity with both Guernsey and international matters

A relevant professional qualification such as STEP, CGI, or a legal/accounting designation is strongly preferred

Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and develop a team

Commercially minded with a client-focused approach and an eye for business development opportunities

Comfortable with compliance and regulatory frameworks in the private wealth space
