A well-established trust company offering family office services, trustee services, and investment management to a select group of high net worth families is seeking an experienced Trust Officer to join its team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of fiduciary accounts, management of client relationships, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, in-office role offering a collaborative environment and a strong focus on work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer a range of fiduciary relationships including trusts, estates, IRAs, and investment accounts
  • Provide strategic advice to multi-generational families on wealth transfer, tax planning, and legal structures
  • Collaborate with legal, financial, and tax professionals to develop tailored solutions
  • Conduct regular reviews of accounts and relationships, recommending adjustments where necessary
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering high-quality service and support
  • Stay informed on industry developments and best practices

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trust administration within a trust company or financial institution
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
  • CTFA or similar professional certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of fiduciary principles, trust law, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in trust accounting systems and Microsoft Office tools
