Relationship Manager

Our client, a fiduciary services business in Guernsey, is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join its established and growing team.

This is a key role within a small, professional office environment, responsible for the administration of a portfolio of private and corporate fiduciary clients. The successful candidate will deliver consistently high standards of client service, take full ownership of their portfolio and operate in a hands on, well regulated environment with a strong focus on quality, governance and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of trust and corporate fiduciary clients
• Taking ownership of client relationships and acting as a primary point of contact
• Ensuring all structures, transactions and activities are administered in line with regulatory and internal requirements
• Maintaining high quality and complete client files, including due diligence and ongoing monitoring
• Exercising sound judgement on transactions and escalating matters where appropriate
• Liaising with intermediaries, advisers and other stakeholders
• Ensuring client activity is accurately documented and capable of withstanding regulatory scrutiny
• Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of internal processes and controls
• Supporting a collaborative team environment and maintaining high levels of client service

The role will suit an experienced trust and fiduciary professional who is confident managing complex structures, exercising sound judgement and working closely with colleagues, intermediaries and advisers.
