Trust Officer

We are working with a highly regarded international professional services business seeking an experienced Trust Officer to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in trust administration who is ready to take greater ownership of a portfolio and develop within a small, collaborative team.

The role will include exposure to UK trusts, including Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs), although previous EOT experience is not essential, as long as there is transferable trust experience.

The Role

• Administer a portfolio of trust structures and maintain accurate client records.

• Prepare trustee resolutions, meeting minutes and supporting documentation.

• Coordinate distributions, asset transfers and other trust transactions.

• Review trust deeds and associated legal documentation.

• Support client onboarding, KYC and due diligence requirements.

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, intermediaries and advisers.

The Successful Candidate

• Ideally 3+ years’ experience within trust or fiduciary services.
• A good understanding of trust administration and trust documentation.
• Strong client service, communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of trust and company law, AML/CFT and governance requirements.
• STEP, ICSA or an equivalent qualification, or working towards one, would be advantageous.
