Senior Accountant

We are seeking a qualified accounting professional to join a growing professional services organisation, supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial and financial services clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys client-facing work, team leadership, and delivering high-quality accounting and financial reporting services.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of entities, including trading businesses, holding companies, trusts, private client structures, SPVs and investment-related vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounting and financial reporting clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts and reporting packs.
• Prepare tax computations and corporate reporting requirements.
• Manage consolidations and complex group structures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and filing requirements.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and build strong working relationships.
• Review work completed by junior team members and provide mentoring and support.
• Assist with workflow planning, team development and process improvements.
• Support new business activities, client onboarding and service development initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and client service.

The Successful Candidate

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Experience managing accounting assignments and client relationships.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience working with both commercial entities and trust, fiduciary or fund accounting structures.

The salary banding for this role is between £47,000 – £56,000, however, the client is open to discussions depending on the skills and experience relevant to the role.
