We are working with a well-established Single Family Office in Guernsey, who is looking to hire a Trust Officer. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ trust and company administration experience and be interested in working directly for a private office, managing an interesting and diverse portfolio of entities.

The Role

  • Assist with the formation and administration of a designated portfolio of entities, including trusts, companies and foundations

  • Manage all trustee, company and foundation documentation such as minutes, resolutions, legal agreements in accordance with the Company’s policy and procedures.

  • Prepare filings on the Guernsey Registry including annual validations for review by senior management

  • Open bank accounts and maintain relationships with banks, assisting with the preparation of all bank related documentation

  • Deal with the administration of investments held

  • Prepare payments and ensure compliance with transaction monitoring requirements.

  • Prepare tax returns for review by senior management and liaise with Guernsey Revenue

  • Maintenance of statutory records; including the maintenance of all Company registers

  • Obtain and maintain due diligence required for AML/CTF/PF purposes and respond to due diligence requests from external parties such as banks

  • General assistance with the day-to-day administration of the office

  • Adhoc administration and compliance projects as and when they arise

Key Requirements

  • 3-4 years’ trust and company administration experience

  • Working towards, or willing to work towards, a relevant professional qualification

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with sound technical capabilities

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Be a finisher, a multi-tasker and an achiever.
